Overall, this machine earned a big THUMBS 👍from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 I have a couple gripes with it, so I give it four and a half stars. But over all I am impressed. This video is not sponsored and I bought this product with my own money I own both a Crosswave Cordless MAX and the Tineco Floor One S5 Pro and I can say that BOTH are fantastic cleaners, and without hesitation I would recommend both of them, and neither one will disappoint… but they both have things worth mentioning for anyone having trouble deciding which one they should get! So I hope my experience helps you folks choose the right machine that fits your needs and your budget. My immediate take on the S5 pro is that it’s meant for deep-pocketed high-tech enthusiasts or people who dont mind spending extra money for a premium experience. The Bissell Crosswave is half the price though!!! The Tineco Floor One S5 Pro feels well-made, solid, and it’s compact and light weight. The display is beautiful, and if you go with the S5, you’re getting the same machine but without the animated display and suction only mode. Otherwise, this review covers both models. Cleaning performance is fantastic! It cleans as well, if not BETTER than the Crosswave, but the roller is a lot thinner than crosswave and Tineco uses a wiping system to scrape the roller while the crosswave uses a plush roller studded with stiff bristles and spins at a higher rpm and uses higer suction power and has a bigger battery. While the Crosswave seems to clean with brute hydro-mechanical force, the Tineco seems to clean as efficiently and quietly as possible, using minimal liquid and as little suction as possible, owing to its smaller battery. The Tineco automatically controls the solution based on input from the iLoop sensor while the crosswave has a trigger for manual solution control. I love the Tineco S5 Pro… but there’s some cons I noticed right away. It’s hard on the shoulders!!! The batteries are located directly under the display, putting that weight at the end of your arm. My shoulder hurt after a few minutes and I had to switch arms frequently. Edge cleaning performance is generally better than crosswave… but only on one side! Crosswave gets close on BOTH sides, around a 1/4” width, and 1/2” on the belt side The tineco left over an inch of uncleaned gap on the belt side! Also, the Tineco S5 Pro doesn’t handle sand and pet hair as well as the crosswave, frequently bunching up and accumulating in the roller cover, even after deep self cleaning . Meanwhile, the crosswave pulls it all into the tank. It has special dirt-detecting sensors to enhance the cleaning experience and the wifi connected app is amazing because it keeps track of how dirty your floors have been over time, and lets you activate the self cleaning mode remotely among other things. When It comes to impressive cleaning performance the Tineco won’t disappoint. But the crosswave is half the price, and performs just a good, cleans area rugs, and just blows away the Tineco in the self cleaning test, where Tineco failed over and over. Even after several self cleaning cycles the thing just refuses to wash itself clean! So in my mind, Crosswave wins HANDS DOWN in value, brute performance and ease of use. But the Tineco is a keeper!!! It’s just a great machine, if only they would improve the self cleaning, I might call it perfect! ⚠️ products shown were chosen by me and purchased with my own money on sale plus the regular 15-20% discount provided by the companies to all first time buyers. ⛔️ All tests shown are non-scientific and reflect real world usage and your results may vary
