Happy New Year, and welcome again to X-Plane 12, and to flight 96, flying from London City Airport to London Stansted. This is X-Plane 12 version 12.3.3. I did try the 12.4 beta version, but the sim kept crashing back to the desktop. I don't know what the problem was, but at least the stable version works okay. Orbx's London City Airport does have an installation problem. For some reason, it doesn't like to install in the correct order for X-Plane, and X-Organize didn't help. Every time I ran X-Organize after having manually altered the scenery ini file, X-Organize messed it up again. So I now have separate ini files saved for different scenery settings. I've also had another attempt at improving the colour, and look of the video. The PC is a Predator Orion 9000, with Intel Core i9-7900X CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.31 GHz running Windows 11; with dual GeForce 1080ti graphics cards, and 128gb memory. All the flight sim software, and scenery files, are installed onto a single 1tb solid state drive. The journey is flown in VR using the Oculus Rift S. The aircraft is the default Laminar Cessna 172. While X-Plane is still in development mode, I'm keeping the number of plug-ins I use down to a minimum, and the only ones I'm using at the moment are: xOrganizer. (But not for this flight) AviTab – Used during the actual flight. Little NavMap – Used to create the flight plan, the flight data log, and the map seen at the start of the video. X-Camera - for recording the replay. This needs to be disabled during flight in VR. After the flight, the replay file is saved, and then played back through X-Plane. The video is recorded in 4k at 60fps using GeForce Experience. The resulting video clips are then edited together in Vegas Pro, and rendered at 60fps in 4K. The following music files for this video have been used from the Vegas Hub Library: "Epic Trailer Music" "The Ascent" "Songs of the North Winds" "Gliding in the Sky" "The Road to Success" "Opportunities" "Folk Vibes" "First Snow" "Anything and Everything" "Path" "Last Days" "Joyful Ride" "Motiv Aura" This is just a bit of fun, and not meant to be taken seriously. Thank you for watching.
