Location: Berlin Middle & High School System: Berlin Test time: 1st day of the month at 6 PM (April-September) Enthusiasts present: Tommy (‪@buckeyenotifications‬), Tim (‪@CrustySirenVideos‬) On our way back home from SirenCon 2025, since it was the first day of June, we decided to take advantage and go to the 5M 'bolt by the middle and high school in Berlin. We coincidentally met up with Tim here (whose face I've censored out, as he requested to not have it shown in the video), which was cool. We originally attempted this back in June of 2023, but it started storming just before 6, and they ended up not testing. Thankfully, this time around, they tested right at 6, although only for 30 seconds, which I suppose is still better than nothing. Honestly, this wasn't as loud as I was expecting, especially for a 5M. It's certainly not as loud as the level 7 one by the gas station, and to be honest, it's probably not much louder than an average 'bolt in my opinion. However, this thing does throw out some epic echoes off the nearby school buildings, which my H1n captures pretty well. If you listen closely, you might be able to make out some of Berlin's other 'bolts in the distance at times. Anyway, this was the final test of our SirenCon 2025 trip, which we had to cut shorter this time than in previous years, mainly due to us bringing the Model 7 and renting a pickup truck to do so.
