Hamaray Ameer Ahle Sunnat Episode 5 - Maulana Ilyas Qadri Ka Operation Many years ago, Sheikh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دامت برکاتہم العالیہ had surgery at Rajputana Hospital, a well-reputed hospital in Zamzam Nagar Hyderabad. At that time, I remained close to Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat. So, the moments and happenings I experienced there at that time are really unforgettable. First of all, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat had a Madani Mashwara to set the time of the surgery and suggested that it should be after Isha Salah because first of all, he was quite conscious of Salah that his Salah should not be missed. So, after Isha Salah the surgery took place and according to the doctor, he was to regain consciousness in 4 to 6 hours but from coming out of the operation theatre to entering the ward I was walking with the stretcher. So, in that state of unconsciousness which is usual for a patient after surgery, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دامت برکاتہم العالیہ was continuously praying for forgiveness for himself, his disciples, kids and other family members like, “O Allah! Keep my Faith safeguarded. O, Allah! Forgive me, my parents and kids. O, Allah! Do not let my Salah be missed.” This was an astonishing condition. However, he was shifted to the ward where there is usually a condition of drowsiness after the surgery. So, every now and then, as he began to regain consciousness, he, apart from praying for forgiveness and safety of Faith, repeatedly uttered a sentence, “Dear, my Salah should not be missed, my Salah should not be missed. I have not offered Fajr Salah. My Salah should not be missed.” Sheikh! It is just 3 o’clock now. Sheikh! It is just 3:30 now. Sheikh! It is just 4 now. Repeating this before the Fajr time started, many times he said, “Fajr time has started. Hasn’t it? Salah should not be missed.” Anyway, when the Fajr time started, the Islamic brothers helped him perform Wudu on the bed then he said, “I will try to perform Salah in standing position because Qiyam is compulsory to be in standing position.” So, he tried to offer Salah in standing position as there were Islamic brothers including myself all around him so as to hold him in case he fell or felt drowsy. However, in that condition also i.e. he had come from OT, was a little unconscious, it was Fajr Salah and urine bag was also attached but he offered Fajr Salah in standing position. So, this is the love of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat for Salah. May Allah Almighty grant us also at least a small share his piety and love for Salah that we never miss any Salah!
