It’s an interesting alternative route into practising law, before deciding to formally qualify as a Solicitor in 2019. Jessica Smith, our most recently qualifying Trainee, who is based at our St Albans office – Jessica will formally join the roll call of Solicitors in March so is right at the start of her formal career as a Solicitor. Julie Manson is as a lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. She studied law at Middlesex University in North London, went to law school for a year, then trained to be a Solicitor at a law firm in Newbury, Berkshire. I really love working with the students at the University of Hertfordshire. One of my roles is to arrange lots of talks about different career paths for law students
