Hi all today I’m showing you how to make a caramel sauce with amaretto. The ingredients that you need are: Sugar Brown sugar. Evaporated milk. Heavy whipping cream. Vanilla. Amaretto. Butter. Utensils needed: Heavy pot Wooden spoon. Candy thermometer. Recipe: Add one cup white sugar, one cup of brown sugar, and half a cup of water to the pot stir until it reaches the temperature of 225°F. Next at four pats of butter. Continue to stir. Once the butter is melted, add the heavy whipping cream. Continue to stir then add the evaporated milk continue to stir. You will be stirring for quite some time you want the temperature to reach 225°F again before you remove this mixture from the heat. Once you remove it from the heat, then add 1 tablespoon of vanilla or vanilla bean paste then add 2 tablespoons of amaretto. Continue to stir then pour into a heat safe container. Remember, this mixture is scolding hot. You want to be extra careful not to burn yourself or anyone else around you. Let them mixture cool for about 10 minutes or so and then you can taste it with your spoon or you can use it to drizzle over ice cream or as you will see I use it to make turtle candies.
