I want my interested users, understand and practice the basic hand sewing stitches and start becoming familiar with them. Procedures would be almost the same on real wheels. You could do this practice on some 'flat cardboard pieces' as shown or on some piece of 'broom poles' or 'pvc plastic tubes'...either way. At this moment, I am working on the first promised course 'How to leather-cover a steering-wheel', one single piece, one joint', following the efficacious 'trial and error method'. I am convinced that everybody could learn 'how to' following a simple method...it is only the beginning for more complex designs!
