How to make deep fried cake doughnuts at home! These cake donuts made from scratch are super easy to make! Much easier then I thought! Who doesn't love a homemade doughnut! Items used in this video (affiliate links) Doughnut Cutter: http://amzn.to/2FPmT3B Deep Fryer: http://amzn.to/2H3XLpr Rolling Pin: http://amzn.to/2H1Kcqs Silicone Mat: http://amzn.to/2CXTktA Kitchen Aid Mixer: http://amzn.to/2oFrSwC Ingredients: 1/2 cup Sugar 2 1/2 Cups Flour 1 Tbsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup milk 1 egg 1/4 cup melted butter 2 tsp vanilla extract Oil for Deep frying 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar for coating Directions: In a large bowl mix together all the dry ingredients. Form a well in the dry ingredients and pour in all the wet ingredients. Then mix until well blended. Now cover, and place in the refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours. Heat your oil to 370 degrees Fahrenheit. Flour your surface, roll your dough out to around 1/2 in thick, and then use a doughnut cutter to cut your shapes. Fry your doughnuts until they turn golden brown, turning once during cooking. Set aside on paper towels. Before doughnuts are completely cooled, toss them in your cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat them.
