In this video I will be swatching my Arrtx coloured pencils to see what the colours actually look like on paper. There’s something really satisfying about creating a full colour chart, and it’s the best way to get to know a new set of pencils. In this video I go through the palette and build a complete swatch sheet so we can see the vibrancy, pigment, and overall feel of these pencils. Sometimes the colours in the tin or box look very different once they’re on paper, so swatching is a great first step when trying new art supplies, although I am terrible at actually doing this.
