Walking Around Neo Itilo Greece | Remote Seaside Village in the Peloponnese | 4K UHD Video Walk

In this video, we're taking a super relaxing early morning Good Friday walk around spectacular Neo Itilo, a tiny seaside village on the Mani Peninsula, Peloponnese, Greece. Neo Itilo is just a short drive down the mountain from Areopoli, the main local town. This part of Greece is quite remote and amazingly rugged, with towering mountains leading right down to clear sapphire-blue waters. We begin our walk at the Neo Itilo Cemetery, and take a look at some of the graves. Then we head down to the Kalamata - Areopoli Road, and walk towards Limeni as far as the waterfront road. Doubling back, we follow the seashore and go past the Agiou Ioanni Prodromou Church (set up for Good Friday service), and continue on past some waterfront restaurants including the Black Pirate. (Highly recommended). Continuing on we travel past Neo Itilo Beach, and hit the Kalamata - Areopoli Road again. We then retrace our steps past the cemetary and continue on up the hill to Onar Mani Suites, where we take in a panorama of the whole bay. 📅 Date filmed: May 3rd 2024 🌤️ Weather: Sunny, Light Breeze. 17 Deg.
