In a bowl, mix mustard paste, poppy seed paste, and coconut paste. 2. Add turmeric, salt, and chopped or crushed green chilies. 3. Pour in mustard oil and mix well to form a thick paste. Marinate the Fish 1. Wash and pat dry the fish fillets. 2. Coat each piece thoroughly with the mustard mixture. 3. Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes. Wrap the Fish 1. Lightly heat the banana leaves over a flame or hot pan to soften them (this prevents tearing). 2. Place one marinated fish piece on each banana leaf. 3. Add a little extra marinade and a green chili on top. 4. Fold the banana leaf into a parcel and tie with string or secure with toothpicks. Cooking Method Pan Method 1. Heat a flat pan with a little mustard oil. 2. Place the wrapped parcels in the pan and cover with a lid. 3. Cook on low heat for about 10–12 minutes per side. Steaming Method 1.
