Delta-Force first show

Delta-Force's first ever time in a ring. She hasn't even made it to any training workshops to work in new places or amongst new people and dogs - either I have been ill and had to cancel going, or the workshops themselves have been cancelled! Last year she was around the agility shows growing up. She learnt how to be calm around the rings, in particular to lie quietly and watch champ finals! She travelled around the UK and Europe with me for work, going on lots of adventures and all of this life experience helped her for this. Delta has been suffering from Panosteitis - basically growing pains in their bones which causes them to be intermittently lame on different limbs, on and off until they are finally done growing. This means that apart from flatwork (no equipment) and very basic equipment value for agility and hoopers, she has done almost no training. Our flatwork allows us to build distance and basically complete a "course" without using any equipment, just in an empty field. This weekend, our agility show (for my older dogs) was cancelled so we took the opportunity to go to a local CHUK (Canine Hoopers UK) show and do some competing. When I entered the older dogs I realised she was now old enough to enter! So why not?! its all a bit of fun, no pressure, and hey, the girlie did good :D
