Low Compression 2JZ Diagnosis, Tear down & Repair!

We've got a goal of an 8-second 1/4 mile pass in my 1994 VR Holden Commodore which is powered by a Toyota 2JZ. This engine was built by Goleby and consists of a 2JZGE Block with some aftermarket Spool rods, CP Pistons, Real St Main caps. The cylinder head is a standard port GE Head with 1mm oversized Inconel coated Ferrera valves, 282 Degree Kelford camshafts, Kelford Valve-springs, Titanium Retainers and sealed using a GRP Copper Head Gasket with Fire Rings. This is a "1200HP" Package by Goleby and combined with the Garrett G45-1350 is capable of making over 1000HP which is a personal goal of mine, Who doesn't want a 1000HP car! 😆 Last week we were on the Dyno with Kye Knight from Knight Family Motorsport and after making 970HP at 30PSI wth a 100 shot of Nitrous we pulled the plugs to find cylinder 2 and 5 experienced some serious heat and torched the electrodes on the plugs! This week were pulling the 2JZ down to diagnose what went wrong followed by fixing the issue and screwing the JZ Back together!
