[FREE WASH] Prestige Car Wash: Burlington Site

Here is is, Prestige’s newest acquisition. The former Burlington Car Wash in Burlington MA! The owner of the Burlington Car Wash decided he no longer wanted to own the place, so he decided to sell it to the largely expanding Prestige Car Wash chain. Recently, they’ve been building new and acquiring older washes before doing no completely overhauling the locations. Their most recent ground up site was the Malden location and their most recent acquisition is this one. The Burlington Car Wash first opened up as a soft cloth tunnel wash only and was packed with vintage/mid-2000’s equipment. Most of the old equipment was Belanger from the late 70’s and early 80’s, while the rest of the original equipment was replaced with PECO in the early 2000’s. The equipment was NOT taken care of really well, and eventually the mid-2000’s PECO equipment looked like it was vintage as well. 2 touch free bays were added on in 2006-07 and originally, they were Oasis Typhoons. They were open 24/7, but due to being in a neighborhood, they didn’t have any dryers. They remained here until late-2018, when they were replaced with used 3G Cyclone machines. An odd replacement, but definitely more interesting systems than a modern RAZOR. They once again, didn’t use dryers due to the residential area that they were in. However, it always seemed one bay was broken while the other was always working. More info coming soon.
