This video is the result of an alternative forensic investigative approach into the unexplained death of a French woman named Sophie Toscan du Plantier in west Cork Ireland in December 1996. The instruments similar to the ones that caused the fatal injuries can be viewed at the end of the video. Sophie's body was discovered outdoors approximately 150 meters from her house. She had acquired fatal traumatic injuries. Violent deaths are not always murder, however, in Ireland, investigators treat all violent deaths as murder!. Presently, the French criminal justice system convicted a person of murder outside their jurisdiction. No evidence of murder existed, to warrant a charge, against any person or persons in Ireland!.The finding of material similar to coat fibres on the deceased is a significant discovery. These horses were wearing Turnout rugs to protect against the cold and inclement weather for that time of year. The Turnout rugs would be lined with fur like material, thus indicating contact between Sophie and the animals. The question of the phone calls made by Alfie Lyon's RIP, before he called the Gardai needs to be revisited. A coroners inquest into the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier took place in Bantry County Cork on Thursday 17'th April 1997. The court heard that death was caused by laceration and swelling of the brain due to fractures of the skull caused by multiple head injuries from a blunt instrument. The inquest was adjourned due to, "the question of criminal proceedings has yet to be determined". The inquest remains open in Ireland. It is long overdue for the mechanisms of injury to be reviewed.
