Making sourdough was meant to be fun and enjoyed by all! Instead, sourdough dementors suck all of the fun out of it and make it seem impossible. I'm here to show you that it can be easy and FUN! Recipe: 165g Sourdough Starter (Unfed) 400-410g water (Add small splashes if too dry until just sticky) 650g Flour (Optional: 150g wheat, 500g bread or AP flour) 15g salt Instructions -Combine discard and water, whisk together until thin -Add flour and salt, mix with spoon then hands until fully combined -Add splashes of water and fold in if too dry -Leave in bowl on counter covered for 3-12 hours until doubled in size *Can place in fridge up to 15 hours if you need to delay baking* -Preheat oven to 375 -Fold into desired shape and do pulls to get semi-tight skin -Slap that bad boy into desired pan -Score bread in whatever design you want -Pop that puppy in the oven for 45 minutes, covered -At 45 minutes, take cover off -Bake 10 ish more minutes or until internal temp is 190 F -Let rest on counter for 1 hour -Slice and dice baby! *Optional - cut into desired slice sizes, bag, and freeze* *Optional - flaunt to sourdough groups that you didn't do stretch and folds and no one lost their lives*
