Join us live for a panel discussion on the relationship between nature, technology, and media art, presented by The Sixth Sense Festival in collaboration with The NODE Institute. Nature has long been a profound source of inspiration for artists, especially in generative media, simulations, VR landscapes, and immersive ecosystems. Yet this fascination unfolds amid global ecological crises and rapid technological change. This panel explores whether contemporary media art can move beyond digital representations of disappearing ecosystems to meaningfully engage with the environmental challenges of our time. Moderated by Kunal Singh, the discussion brings together creatives including Sanjana Singh, Ricardo Torresi, and additional panelists to examine critical questions: Can practices such as sustainable design and perma-computing foster environmental awareness and conservation?
