Whether it’s with family, co-workers, or teammates, we all have an inherent need to belong. How can we create spaces and practices that cultivate belonging? Join Stanford d.school lecturer Susie Wise, PhD ’11, who shares activities and frameworks that actively foster belonging in the workplace, classrooms and more. You’ll also hear from Victor Cary, MA ’80, of the National Equity Project on how designing belonging can foster equity leadership development. Susie Wise, PhD ’11, is an adjunct professor at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (the d.school), where she founded the K12 Lab. She is also a faculty member at the National Equity Project and author of the newly published guide Design for Belonging: How to Build Inclusion and Collaboration in Your Communities. This event is presented by the Stanford Alumni Association.
