On April 9th the Odyssey of the Seas set sail on an 8 night Southern Caribbean sailing. Originally scheduled to make a lap around the caribbean with a stop in Grand Cayman, covid restrictions led to several itinerary changes. Sailing round trip from Ft. Lauderdale she made stops in Willemstad Curaçao and Oranjestad Aruba as originally scheduled, as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas. April 14th saw her reach her third port of call with a stop in Oranjestad Aruba. With a short distance from Curacao the day before the Odyssey of the Seas arrived earlier than necessary so to buy some extra time she made some zip zags off the coast between Aruba and Venezuela. Just after the sunrise she finally made her arrival into the port where Freewinds is moored for a long-term stay. With a 10:00 PM departure the Odyssey of the Seas had plenty of time in port before leaving in darkness. Despite the long day import some late returners once again delayed the departure by 15 minutes. She then made a quick run out of the channel and dropped the pilot off before starting her journey back north.
