BJJ Instructor Training in Norway

This is an excerpt from a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor Training classes I taught at the Trondheim BJJ Club in Trondheim, Norway. In this class, I compared and contrasted the original way I was taught to perform the basic under the leg guard pass with the way Professor Moreira taught me to perform it in 1993. This new way kept me safe from triangles and arm locks. Since 1993, I have added several details to this simple guard pass. Now, for those who are interested in learning this simple guard pass, they can learn these details in a couple of lessons and then begin to pass under their opponent's leg with no fear of getting caught in either a triangle choke, arm lock or sweep!
