Hello everyone! Today we're taking a look at the Iron Triangle, the intersections of three double track mainlines in the city of Fostoria Ohio. The discovery of natural gas led to the production of glass in Fostoria, and the railroads came through which led to the Iron Triangle's existence. Today, CSX (ex. B&O, C&O, and Chessie System) owns two of the three lines that make it up, and NS (ex. Nickel Plate) owns the third. In 2013, the Fostoria Railroad Preservation Society opened the Railpark, which hosts many railfans every day who come to see the hundred trains that pass through each day.
