The machine shop project rotation continues with restoration of a shop press and a way to manually oil the cross feed screw on the Axelson lathe, maintaining the oil levels makes a noticeable difference in the entire machine. The cross feed screw appears to be getting some oil but I want to be able to manually oil it to help prevent wear. I still have the head removal to do on the radial drill to replace the glide bearings for horizontal movement. Thanks for your interest in these old machines, tools and methods.
