Bringing my 1949 Chevy back to life after it's been sitting for about a year. In this episode, I'm getting the front suspension torn down and rebuilt. New upper and lower control arms, drop springs, tie rod, end link, and getting everything ready to torque down once both sides are done. This truck is sitting on an S10 chassis with a rebuilt Gen 2 LT1 that has roughly 5,000 miles on it. The goal is to get it running, driving, and looking good again... then get it sold and let the next owner take it wherever they want. I'll be posting every Saturday as I work through the rest of the suspension, wiring, brakes, interior pieces, and all the little things this '49 needs to hit the road again.
