In this message, Cris invites us to see God in a new way. Instead of a God who only gives when we do something right, he shows us a God who gives freely, out of love. Using the story from Luke 17, where Jesus heals ten men with leprosy, he explains how all were healed but only one returned to say thank you. That one man was a Samaritan, someone who didn’t belong, yet he received the same grace as the others. This reminds us that God's goodness is not based on who we are or what we’ve done. This helps us see how we often bring a transactional mindset into our faith. We think if we pray, confess, or give, then we will get something from God in return. But Jesus came to end that way of thinking. When He said “It is finished” on the cross, it meant we don’t have to earn God’s love anymore. It is already available to us. Like children receiving gifts, we are simply invited to receive what God wants to give. If you’ve ever felt like you needed to do more to be accepted by God, this message is for you. It’s a reminder that God is better than expected.
