Formula 1 exhaust sound @racetrack Ford cosworth DFV V8 Sound with Historic TROJAN T103 Ex-Tim Schenken. This is the first of just two Trojan T103s built ahead of the 1974 and the only one that recorded any races. It was the car used by Tim Schenken for the Trojan World Championship campaign, which lasted just six race starts (Schenken also failed to qualify on two occasions). The best results were 10th place finishes at the Belgian and Austrian Grands Prix. Today, the rare Formula 1 racer is owned by a French enthusiast, who had it restored to full running order. He regularly races the car at historic events, with an outing in the 2012 Monaco Historic Grand Prix as the absolute highlight. the T103 consisted of a sheet-aluminium monocoque chassis with the Cosworth DFV and Hewland gearbox used as fully stressed members. Suspension was by double wishbones at the front and a upper and lower links with trailing arms at the rear. Ventilated discs were used all-round, with the rear brakes mounted alongside the gearbox to reduce the unsprung weight. The full-width front wing also housed the radiator, while the engine was fitted with a tall air-box with an oval-shaped intake.
