Make this delicious Amla Ka Khata Mitha Achar at home easily. Also known as Amla Launji, this healthy Indian pickle is sweet, tangy and full of nutrition. You can enjoy it with roti, paratha or even dal-chawal. This homemade amla achar can be stored for up to 2 years if kept properly in a clean and dry glass jar. Ingredients: 500g fresh amla (Indian gooseberry) 300g mishri (rock sugar) Kashmiri red chilli powder Ajwain Kalaunji Saunf powder Roasted jeera powder Lavan Bhaskar churna Hing Method: Wash and boil 500g fresh amla until soft. Remove the seeds and separate the amla segments. In a pan, boil 300g mishri with some water until it forms syrup. Add the amla pieces into the mishri syrup and cook while stirring. Once properly cooked, add Kashmiri mirch powder, ajwain, kalaunji, saunf powder and roasted jeera powder. At the end, add lavan bhaskar churna and hing for extra flavour and digestion benefits. Cook until the mixture thickens and gets a glossy texture. Storage Tips: Store in a completely dry glass jar. Always use a clean and dry spoon to increase shelf life.
