Kangaroo Island lies off the mainland of South Australia, southwest of Adelaide. It's known as a "zoo without fences". We gained access to the island via a Sealink Ferry from Cape Jervis on the mainland to Penneshaw on the island. We visited Seal Bay, Emu Ridge, and Hanson’s Bay Farm. We saw sea lions, koalas, emus and diverse bird species. Flinders Chase National Park, located on the wild western end of Kangaroo Island, South Australia, is a premier nature destination renowned for its rugged coastline, unique geological formations like the Remarkable Rocks as well as the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch, and abundant wildlife including long-nosed fur seals.
