Conquering the Kentmere Horseshoe – 14 Summits, 10 Wainwrights & 28KM of Pure Adventure! The Kentmere Horseshoe – a Lake District classic, and one seriously epic day on the fells! Battling cold winds, a few rain showers, and a relentless ridge line, I ticked off 14 summits, including 10 Wainwrights, over 28KM of rugged terrain. With over 3,000 calories burned, this was a full-on day and especially whn carrying a knee injury. Really recommend this route and as always the links are below t view on Strava.
