11-year-old student Warren from Shenzhen Yadi School illustrated the intergenerational inheritance of flow through stories about his father. “When my dad focuses on designing waterproof vehicles, time seems to stand still — this state now also occurs when I’m building Lego sets, and it has even permeated my daily life.” He cleverly connected flow experiences across different generations, proving that this ability transcends age and fields. Warren is a 11-year-old boy and studies at Shenzhen Yadi School, where English is his favorite subject. Warren also loves English public speaking because it allows him to express his ideas with confidence and joy. He lives in a warm family with his parents, grandparents, and his 16-year-old brother. Outside the classroom, Warren enjoys soccer, a sport that helps him build teamwork. Warren is curious, friendly, and always eager to share new ideas with others. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
