Rob Bailey encourages us with his message, “We Are Never Alone,” from 1 Samuel 17:32–47. Just as David faced Goliath, we too encounter giants—but we can stand strong, confident that God is always with us. While others saw only a shepherd boy, God was preparing David through his battles with lions and bears to become a warrior. In God’s perfect timing, David arrived on the battlefield as Goliath’s taunts filled the valley. While others trembled, David stood firm, declaring, “I come against you in the name of the Lord.” We each face our own giants, but like David, we can draw courage and confidence from our God. Let us take heart from Joshua 1:9—“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Empowered by the Holy Spirit, may we boldly speak the name of Jesus and walk in victory and purpose.
