A Welch, Marvin, Bennett composition from the 1977 very successful "Tasty" album. Geeks, Nerds and Anoraks Corner. I take my hat off to anyone who can consistently play this live without seriously cocking it up. I managed it about every 10th attempt! Nothing fancy soundwise here. I chose the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Strat as it's fitted with 10 gauge Elixir strings, the 12 gauge on my American Strat I find more difficult on numbers such as this these days. I'm sure my brain doesn't communicate with my fingers like it used to!!! Bridge pickup into patch 46 on the Hall and Collins Signature Echo, but to liven it up I added just a touch of stereo echoes from the Tascam DP24SD recorder. No EQ mods at all. The backing track is from Ian McCutcheon's Shadows Workout 3. There is a live version of this on YT by Ian playing in a band at a Shadows Club meeting, and it is very good indeed, I take my hat off to Ian. I hope you enjoy.
