Hiking Iceland I Bruarfoss, Midfoss 'n Hlauptungfoss

Bruarfoss: an extraordinary walk along 3 waterfalls and a river with clear blue, turquoise water. For some reason, this beautiful place is less visited…an ideal place to escape the large tourist crowd. The first waterfall we encounter is 'the Bruarfoss'. We cross the bridge and walk along a narrow path on the river until the next waterfall, 'the midfoss'. The color of the fast-flowing water is so blue that it doesn't even seem real... breathtaking! Finally, we arrive at 'the Hlauptungfoss'. Here, we linger and enjoy the brutal violence of nature, with which the river makes its way into this raw landscape. Afterwards we turn around and go back to the Parking along the same road. So we can enjoy this beautiful piece of nature again.
