Dry season: April to November; Wet season: December to March Dive sites visited: == In Central Komodo == Sabayur Kecil: We had our check dive at this site. It’s an easy dive with groups of blue-striped snappers, soldierfish, sea turtles, and stingrays found in the sandy bottom area. Manta Point: Many mantas can be seen here. Even outside of the manta season, we still encountered five mantas. It's easily to spot 10-20 Mantas from Dec to March. Tatawa Besar: This site has a very high coverage of soft corals and is full of reef fish such as angelfish, butterflyfish, redtoothed triggerfish, octopus, and many others. Batu Bolong: Home to whitetip reef sharks, sweetlips, moray eels, large pufferfish, and fusiliers. Siaba Kecil: Rich in soft corals and teeming with reef fish. Sea turtles are also easily spotted here. Mawan: Similar to Manta Point — a great site for manta sightings. == North Komodo == Castle Rock: Similar to Blue Corner in Palau. Divers can hook in and watch whitetip and grey reef sharks. Crystal Rock: Features vibrant soft corals and a wide variety of reef fish, along with schools of jacks and napoleon wrasse.
