This dish I had in Muscat recently when I was there visiting my sisters. At one of the lunches I was invited to, this was served with tea. I loved it, therefore my sister Shamim explained to me how it is done, thank you my sister. This is Vitumbua vya thambi as they call it. It’s very tasty, perfect for the month of Ramadhan, dessert. This was my first attempt and Alhamdhullilah it turned out very good. Try it out and enjoy, something different. INGREDIENTS: 150 gm of Rice Vermicelli (brand of your choice should be thin ones) 1 can of coconut milk 1/2 cup water (or as needed to fully cook the vermicelli) 4 Tbsps of sugar 1 tsp of cardamom powder 1 egg (this is optional) I added to hold the vitumbuas nicely Follow my step by step video for detailed instructions.
