Alex McLeod is a Toronto-based digital artist whose expansive practice crosses seamlessly between fine art, music, fashion, and commercial collaborations. Known for bringing the same passion and artistry to every project, his work spans from music videos for Celine Dion to immersive AI-powered environments with Intel, as well as large-scale public installations. Alex’s “Gifscape” is now featured on his portfolio and available to all Format members to add and customize on their own websites. Layering custom-made GIFs to create a dreamlike environment, the work lives up to its name. “For my template I created a gif landscape. Flex block is pushing my practice, making me realize that websites can become living art pieces. There can be sections of my website that are activated and more alive than previously.
