Halimar Tidecaller is surprisingly effective (called it) in a deck with 8 spells with Awaken. We can mostly play like a traditional "Draw-Go" control deck, only when we counter spells or wipe the board, we get a threat of our own! These awakened lands are often enough to win the game for us slowly but surely as long as we can control the board (again, Halimar Tidecaller can get back counters or boardwipe to help out with that). Other than a few contemporary quirks, this is pretty much tried and true, dyed-in-the-wool, business-as-usual control that any player with experience in this archetype should be able to pilot with ease.
