However, with the new series starting on Saturday, I'll try and get some Dalek trock out. Lyrics: Walking through shadow was an officer of the law, In a junkyard was a whirring noise from behind a police box door, Nearby in school, with a countenance oddly mild, Was a girl named Susan Foreman -- an unearthly child. She corrected her history books and chemistry was a bore, Her teachers were astounded by what they heard and saw, But to most basic questions, her answers were weird and wild, Mysterious was Miss Foreman- the unearthly child. Mr Ian Chesterton, who taught her chemistry, Consulted Barbara Wright, who taught Susan history, They went to the girl's address, which the school had filed, But all they found was a telephone box -- no unearthly child. The next day, the teachers offered her a ride home through town, But closely guarding secrets, Susan Foreman turned them down, But as she set off home, the teachers shared a smile And they followed Susan Foreman -- the unearthly child. When they reached the junkyard, Susan vanished out of sight, The teachers couldn't find Miss Foreman trying as they might. The police box pulled them closer; they heard the girl inside, Then a man came out of nowhere -- many secrets did he hide. The girl emerged from the spaceship and her teachers bustled through. The interior was larger than that box so bright and blue, The man performed an action which left the teachers riled, He kidnapped them through space-time with the unearthly child.
