“Cardboard Chaos” but I only have 1 box and it’s kinda chill.

This is a shaping game to teach dogs to control the thing they are afraid of. Murphy has some experience with shaping and is not afraid of the boxes BUT has a ton of noise sensitivities and is quite reactive. This gives him the control over the touching and noises. He creates the noise, giving him more confidence and control. Start by marking and rewarding any interaction with the box, including just looking at it. My eyes are off camera but I am mostly looking at the box, not my dog. This guides him to where I want him to do something. Touching me earns nothing, touching the box earns food. At the end I hold out for a little more and get some paws! Be patient, set your goals low, help your dog be successful!
