EPIC Burgers and an Exclusive Pilot Base Tour in North Carolina!

Our North Carolina road trip with cousins turned out to be an unforgettable adventure! We headed down south to visit my cousin Chanel, and along the way, a cotton field caught our eye. Intrigued, we pulled over to take a closer look. Standing amidst the rows of fluffy white cotton, we felt a deep connection to our ancestors and took a moment to honor their legacy. As we continued exploring, we stumbled upon a charming ice cream shop called The Meadows. We couldn’t resist stopping in, and it turned out to be the perfect choice the ice cream was absolutely amazing. Later, we visited Quality Seafood, where we picked up some fresh shrimp to take home. Our next stops were a local thrift store and a pawn shop, both of which offered plenty of quirky finds and treasures to browse through. For dinner that evening, we whipped up a feast of juicy burgers and perfectly roasted potatoes, making the most of our fresh ingredients and good company. One of the highlights of the trip was when Chanel’s wife, a pilot, took us to her base. Seeing the aircraft up close was incredible! We learned all about what happens to helicopters and airplanes after they fly and got an insider look at the inspection process post-travel. It was such a memorable trip, filled with discovery, connection, and great food, all shared with family. Thanks for watching & see you soon!
