He's pretty fly for a lord of the fly-guys. Rules: EXP gain must be minimised, limited to forced encounters where possible Using Bright Might or Dark Might for guaranteed crits is forbidden Use of demons from the Maniax/Chronicle release is forbidden (This includes Fiends, Beelzebub, Black Frost, Futomimi, Metatron, Sakahagi and Dante/Raidou) The goal is to collect all Magatama and achieve the True Demon Ending Beelzebub has powerful attacks and buff removal, everything a boss needs to be a genuinely engaging challenge in this game. Except he doesn't have the smartest AI... usually. He starts the fight out only using his normal attack, Mazionga and Mazandyne. but after depleting about 25% of his HP he'll start fighting for real, incorporating Megidolaon and his signature attack Death Flies which is similar to Megidolaon except that it is a guaranteed instant kill to any target that isn't immune to dark. In addition to this he'll start using Dekunda and Dekaja but only if your buffs exceed +2/-2 in which case he will use both over the course of 2 turns in addition to Focus. As long as you restrict your buffs to +2/-2 this isn't a problem at all. Worth mentioning also is that he resists everything except fire so Fire Boosted Hellfire is really the only efficient option to use here. Now the really interesting part here is that giving him an extra press turn seems to have had an interesting effect on his AI. Now he seems prone to using Dekunda even when the above conditions haven't been met. The prospect of Dekunda into double Death Flies is both terrifying and exhilarating to me. His seemingly random use of Dekunda definitely made this fight much more interesting that it is usually, perhaps more so than his ability to take more than one action on most turns.
