In this video, I build a custom DIY submarine inspired by LEGO submarines — but with major upgrades. I started by testing several different propeller designs to find the quietest, most efficient, and bubble-free option while still getting strong thrust underwater. For fully automatic depth control, I designed a syringe-based ballast system that lets the submarine adjust buoyancy smoothly and stay stable at any depth. I also used an RC radio controller for precise manual steering and reliable long-range control. If you’re interested in DIY submarines, RC projects, underwater robotics, or homemade engineering builds, this project is packed with ideas, tests, and practical tips. I also show the full process of isolating the submarine hull to keep water out, improving pressure resistance, and building a custom buoyancy system using syringes for realistic up-and-down movement—just like a real ballast system. Then I engineered a complete control system with working fins, stabilizers, and precise steering, turning this DIY project into a fully functional homemade submarine. --------------------------------------------- Bambu Lab 3D Printer 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Black Friday: https://tidd.ly/48gIL7a --------------------------------------------------- 00:00 Finding silent propeller with maximum thrust 03:04 Building the motor and fins for submarine control 05:46 Waterproofing the submarine hull 07:50 submarine battery 08:13 Submarine Ballast System 10:50 Installing a camera and trim weights for stability and balance 11:30 Comprehensive submarine performance testing #DIYSubmarine #LegoSubmarine #RCSubmarine #bambulab #bambulabx1c #3dprinting
