God's goodness is real encouragement when in a slump

Retail therapy for motivation: It's temporary. Focusing on God's goodness is what really encourages me. We all get in a rut at times. Life can drain you. People, places, things, numerous options to list... they can all drain us. Overcoming trauma, fighting sickness, carrying on for those around you who depend on you, it can leave us flat some days. One of the biggest hurdles is "people pleasing" which will emotionally kill you. I have to pull aside and PRAISE! Be encouraged. God is on the throne. Not man. GOD! He is good. And He is good at being a good God. AND... NOT ONLY THAT... GOD IS THERE, SMACK DAB IN ALL THE THINGS... every nook & cranny. God is good at creating us, and shaping us into who HE designed us to be. He doesn't want only this compartment, or that area, He wants every moment, all of you. It's a daily walk. Every step. Moment by moment. He is with us. WITH means comes along side us engaged in the battle. He is present... Not at that "certain space" waiting for us to get done with our doings and make it there. BUT even there, God, is good, and WITH US right there. Everywhere. He is always (100% of the time) with us, in each and every when, every where, all day and night, rain and shine, always! LEAN IN! TRUTH MOMENT: Mostly my slumps are due to weakness in body and mind... due to sickness, overload of duty-based traditions, unholy expectations of others weighing me down, and overall a lot going on in life. I share this so that you can look at your life and make observations for yourself... then tackle them with the Lord. He truly does see you, hear you, and care for you. Cast all of it onto Him.
