Should This Be A National Park?? Ozark National Scenic Riverways. (Park 1)

We travel to one of the very best outdoor destinations in our state to explore the Ozark Scenic Riverways. This is a congressionally protected area maintained by the National Park Service however it is not one of the 63 National Parks. Does it meet the standard for full status and should it be named America's 64th National Park? In this first video we start at Welch Spring and the abandoned Hospital, From there we pass Akers Ferry on our way to the Devil's Well an 80 foot deep collapsed cavern. We then hike to the beautiful round Spring. We set up camp at the Alley Spring Campground and explore the iconic mill and spring. From there we head south to look for Elk at the Peck Ranch.
