Any serious student of Pilates, whose desire it is to understand what it was like to workout in Joe's original studio will learn a lot from Karen's cues while also gaining knowledge of the specific order of the exercises and much more. Concepts covered here include: how to continue working the springs throughout the exercise; the 2-way stretch or opposition through the body; what part of the body is the focus at the beginning of the workout and how that focus changes; and techniques for keeping the work coming from the center of the body. Karen gives specific cues for the bodies in this session as well as general cues that can aid understanding of the concepts and movements throughout the workout.
