I went to school to pick up (get) my school supplies last Saturday. 3 전 여름 방학 시작할 때까지 2주 동안 원격수업을 해요. I will be having online classes for the next two weeks until my summer break starts. 4 현재 코로나19은 우리 모두에게 힘든 상황이죠. The current Covid-19 situation has been hard for all of us. 5 우리 이왕 (학교에) 왔으니까 동물원에 들리자. We might as well stop by the zoo since we are already here (at school). might as well (이왕 이렇게 된 거) ~하는 편이 낫겠어 6 제 학교 바로 옆에는 작은 동물원이 있어요. There's a small zoo right next to my school. 7 날씨는 정말 덥고 습했어요. The weather was super hot and humid. 8 비도 오락가락했죠. It was raining on and off, too. 9 실내 식물원, 레스토랑 등 대부분의 실내 시설은 문을 닫았어요. Most indoor facilities, such as indoor botanical gardens and restaurants were closed. 10 그래도 우리는 코끼리 , 호랑이, 사자, 표범, 원숭이 같은 동물을 볼 수 있었어요. We still got to see all the animals like elephants, tigers, lions, leopards, and monkeys. 11 그런데 다들 너무 슬퍼 보였어요. But they all looked sad. 12 그건 우리에 갇혀 있고 싶지 않아서 그래. That's because they don't want to be kept in cages. 13 우울한 동물들을 보는 게 너무 안쓰러워요. I feel really bad for looking at depressed animals. 14 난 코로나19 때문에 가끔 우울하고 우리 안에 갇힌 기분이 들기도 해. I sometimes get depressed and feel like I'm in a cage because of COVID-19. 15 그걸 '코로나 블루'라고 해. That is called 'Corona Blue'. 16 불쌍한 코끼리, 친구가 어딨지? Poor elephant, where is his friend? 17 너무 슬퍼 보인다. 코끼리는 실제로 감정을 배우고 느낄 수 있다. He looks quite sad. Elephants can actually learn and feel emotions. 18 코끼리 코를 뭐라고 부르는지 알아? They are very strong and powerful. 23 행복한 곰 가족이랑 표범 커플도 있다. I also see the happy bear family and leopard couple. 24 사슬에 매달린 원숭이 봐봐! Look at the monkey hanging on a chain. 25 너무 귀엽다. He's so cute. 26 하이에나도 있어요. I see hyenas, too. 27 엄청 위험한 동물이야. They are very dangerous animals. 28 사람을 공격해. They attack humans. 29 정말요? 완전 무섭다. For real? That's really scary. 30 엄마, 목 말라요.
