Main types of taxes Because it’s not just one type of taxes And depending on how you earn your money you may be able to avoid some but most likely you can't avoid them all And you shouldn’t be able to honestly because you gotta pay your fair share And pretty sure most of you aren’t try to finesse anyone but are just trying to save money And because no one ever told me the reason we pay taxes for, I’ll tell this before I tell you the best states Here are the Types Federal Taxes ( that’s you getting taxed at the federal level You’ll get taxed between 10% at the lowest end and all the way up to 37% at the highest end if you make over 518k The cool thing is that when you get married and filled your taxes jointly it can save you a lot of money And remember federal taxes are used for National defense, Social Programs and to pay the interest on the national debt; and more State taxes These taxes are used for education purposes, building roads and bridges I know we complain in the US about potholes but if you ever been outside the US There are roads that just holes Local taxes: Police and Fire services and more Property Taxes: usually for public schools ( this is when you a buy a property, and you get taxed monthly ) Sales Taxe on goods you buy: This when you buy something at a store and get taxed, some states don’t tax food which is cool Payroll taxes: Social Security and Medicare Taxes ( this is like a mandatory annuity which not a big fan of but I understand it ) Also: not including inheritance tax or estate taxes, its a lot of money 2.
