Duarsini is an offbeat tourist place in Purulia district. In this video we will explore the remote tribal villages Tharkadaha and Garupani. In both the villages the inhabitants are very few and depend upon agriculture mostly. The scenic beauty of both villages is truly amazing and consists of hilly areas, dense forest,river and nice people. We wanted to explore Ghatshila as well but we had very little time in my hand, and within the period I covered Duarsini and Ratmohona of Ghatshila. I stayed in a dormitory run by West Bengal State Forest Development Agency (wbsfda). One can spend a day in this remote tribal village and grasp the essence of an authentic tribal village. Duarsini haat is situated just five hundred metres away from the eco tourism centre. 👉Best time to visit Duarsini: Duarsini could be explored throughout the year even at monsoon but the best time to visit this place is from October to March. 👉How to reach Duarsini from Kolkata: There is no direct train available from Kolkata, but the nearest station is Ghatshila.One can easily reach Duarsini from Ghatshila by hiring a cab or auto rickshaw. Ghatshila to Duarsini distance is about 28 km. There are several trains available from Howrah -- 🔴12021 Howrah Barbil Janshatabdi Express: 06:20 12871 Howrah Ishpat Express: 06:35 📌By road: The road conditions are very good to reach Duarsini from Kolkata even from Ghatshila.
