C130 Landing and Takeoff at Angel Fire, New Mexico (KAXX)

Lockheed Martin C130s often fly in-and-out of Angel Fire, New Mexico as part of their high altitude training, with the airfield at 8,380 feet MSL. The 8,900' x 100' runway gives the plane plenty of space to takeoff and land, and enough room to turn-around at the end of the runway. On this day, the winds were gusting to 32 knots at close to 90 degrees from the runway heading. Nothing like the sound of freedom echoing through the Moreno Valley, over the Enchanted Circle. Military aircraft fans will like this video. As for me, I am an instrument rated private pilot that flies a Piper Saratoga.
