ECC Concert Band: Film Scores 6-2-24 (FULL CONCERT)

Here's a concert I filmed and edited that features the ECC Concert Band performing several scores from the Godfather, Star Wars, James Bond (007), Miss Saigon, and more! Directed/Conducted by Prof Raymundo Vizcarra. In January 2006, he was appointed as the band and orchestra director at Fairfax High School, where he resurrected a 20-year defunct program and turned it into one of the most competitive programs in the LAUSD; winning 2 City Championship titles in marching band and color guard in addition to having an undefeated string orchestra program. In 2014 he was appointed as director of bands at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, where he won 3 state titles and numerous awards for jazz and concert bands, earning an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2019, he earned his MA in Music Education from Michigan State University and in 2021 he was accepted to the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California USC and is currently pursuing his DMA in Trombone performance, Music Teaching and Learning , Jazz Studies, and Afro-Latin Music.
