This video explores a little-discussed but real challenge that can appear after Awakening: a loss of motivation that can resemble depression. While Awakening brings clarity about what you truly are, it can also destabilize familiar sources of meaning if that clarity is not properly integrated into daily life. After Awakening, the mind may conclude that since everything is ultimately an illusion, there is nothing left to do and no goals worth pursuing. From the Awakened perspective this is partly true, yet when misunderstood it can lead to disengagement, boredom, and emotional flatness. The core solution is "integration." Awakening does not require rejecting the human experience or the soul (astral) experience, but integrating all levels of existence into a coherent whole. Physical life, professional activity, relationships, service, and spiritual realization each have their own valid motivations. When these are honored rather than discarded, Awakening becomes a source of inner freedom, not of lack of motivation. As long as Consciousness is expressed through a body -- physical or astral, the material and relational aspects of life must be respected. Caring for the body, enjoying healthy pleasures, maintaining meaningful relationships, and contributing through one’s vocation are not contradictions to Awakening. Even subtle realms of existence -- astral or ideational -- illusion continues, but the illusion should be honored on the positive side; as long as there is a form through which Consciousness operates.. Another way to look at this is from the perspective of "attaining balance between being and doing." Awakening does not mean abandoning action. Doing remains necessary as long as there is a body, while beingness provides the grounding that decreases or prevents identification with action. One option is to find practical ways of anchoring in beingness, at specific times during the day, such as meditation, resting as Awareness and other daily spiritual practices that prevent getting completely disconnected from True Nature. Boredom is also a subtle danger after Awakening. Awakening, when integrated, leads to greater clarity, intuition and guidance, making it easier to walk what ithe razor’s edge between engagement and detachment. Getting guidance and support after Awakening are strongly recommended. This phase is like walking in a new territory with its own pitfalls; working with someone experienced can help avoid common misunderstandings. But do NOT fear Awakening -- "what you truly are can never be lost, and what are NOT was never yours in the first place. • Gian Girardi School of Awakening: https://giangirardi.com • The Awakening Protocol: https://giangirardi.com/the-awakening... • Coaching Sessions with Gian before and after Awakening: write at GianGirardi@iCloud.com
